My counsellor has been an amazing person to talk with. He’s kind, very good with advice, and he reminded me that I don’t have to be “the strong one” and that showing my vulnerabilities is not weak, but rather brave, and shows that I have strength. When I told him about how I was struggling with anxiety, he taught me how I could live in the present moment, and gave me breathing exercises that I could discreetly use without others noticing.
