Counselling/Clinical Internships
Academic Programs: M.A. Counselling, Bachelor or Master of Social Work, M.A. Psychology)
The Clinical program provides opportunities for Master-level and 4th year Bachelor-level University students who are studying in one of the following fields: Bachelor or Masters of Social Work, Honours Bachelor of Counselling Psychology, Masters of Counselling, and Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
Community Programs Internships
Academic Programs: Bachelor of Social Work or University degree program in the Social Sciences
CFS provides student placements within the Community Programs stream. Placement students are offered a dynamic placement experience supporting clients from diverse populations and across the lifespan. Students can expect to gain experience supporting youth, older adults, immigrants and offenders through community based programming and initiatives.
Marketing/Fundraising Internships
Academic Programs: Graphic Design
The Graphic Design Intern will work in collaboration with CFS’s Business Development (BD) team to develop and create brand assets for the agency and its programs. Working remotely using their own equipment, the Graphic Design Intern will meet regularly with the BD team at mutually convenient times (either in person or virtually) at a frequency determined by the project management schedule and project teams.
Working hours are remote. Working schedule will be determined by CFS in collaboration with the Intern.

Office Administration Internships
Academic Programs: Office Administration (General, Executive or Health Services)
The Clinical Assistant Intern would provide support to the Clinical Program Assistant with data entry of client information into EMHWare and general reception duties.
This position operates in person at the 20 Anne Street location in Barrie. Office hours are 9am-5pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday; and 9am-8pm Tuesday and Wednesday. The working schedule will be determined by CFS in collaboration with the Intern.
Human Resources Internships
Academic Programs: Human Resources Management or related
The Human Resources Intern would provide support to the Office Manager, with the implementation of transferring papers file containing employee information into an HR database system. Reviewing HR Policies and Procedures.
This position operates in person at the 20 Anne Street location with office hours Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is the possibility of a hybrid model. The working schedule will be determined by CFS in collaboration with the Intern.
