We welcome applications from all interested individuals who are 14 years of age or older. Students are welcome to apply. Below is a list of current volunteer opportunities, please note that if you have a special skill or talent that you would like to share with us and are outside of the areas listed below please let us know by clicking here.
Current Volunteer Opportunities | Special Events/Fundraising
All volunteer applicants are screened to ensure an appropriate match is made between the volunteer and the position applied for. The screening process includes completion of a volunteer application form (must be submitted with two reference checks attached), a formal interview, orientation and training. Police Records Checks are required and are available at no charge through the City of Barrie Police Department. To download a Volunteer Application Form please click here.
